What is it about

DotA Allstars - upgraded and updated version of DotA. It's barely a secret IceFrog highly loaded by DotA2 and for last years doesn't care about Warcraft 3 at all. We can understand his point and possible time-management issues. But we can't understand why we HAVE TO agree with that. Nobody can do it better than youself, right? So we did. Better. Clearer. More powerful and shiny than ever. And still keeping the same way as DotA2 do - the game with almost 8.000.000 monthly players.

To ensure distance between IceFrog's original creation and our branch we called it AllStars, like it was called years ago. The best compilation of tweaks and changes, which makes old game more enjoyable.

Why we didn't contact IceFrog?

We did. Actually, me, DracoL1ch, did. We talk about some things back those years, when WC3 was in the list yet. But for more than year it's no longer, and IceFrog made it clear - he don't need any kind of help. And, since it's about the same answer as "go dev youself", I did.

Who we are

DracoL1ch - main programmer, screenwriter and project co-founder. Maybe you heard about his work on Legends of DotA (ex-OMG DotA), which also has successor - Ability Draft (DotA2).

Santy Keller - modeller, artist and second project co-founder. He kept DotA Promode alive for long time since Unexpect3D left. When it comes to models, he's always nearby.

Community - loyal players, who actively tests and promote map on different platforms. Zloy_xex and LeTruck - most eminent of. We wouldn't finish it without your and everyone else's help. Special thanks goes to Kuarinofu aka Nobody knows my movies.

Why?

Because we can. Because we enjoying development almost as well as playing. And it's always fun to try to overcome Warcraft's (and IceFrog's as well) limits.
